My journey began as a single mother in New York, raising my daughter with a clear goal—to build a better future for us. That determination led me to take a leap of faith, relocate to Florida, and pursue a degree in accounting.
That decision opened the door to a successful career in corporate accounting, where I worked with Fortune 500 companies including Tiffany & Co. and Oshkosh Corporation. Through those experiences, I developed deep expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliations, and the fast-paced demands of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close. I later earned my MBA, strengthening my financial and strategic foundation.
Over time, I felt a strong pull toward more meaningful work—supporting small and mid-sized businesses that often lack access to the high-level financial insight available to larger corporations. That calling led me to launch JFR Bookkeeping Services.
